Stephen: Flyers introduce “rage room” for fans
Forget fancy suites and microbrews–the Philadelphia Flyers know what fans really want in a stadium experience: a rage room. As ESPN reports, the Flyers announced Tuesday that their arena is now home to the first ever rage room for a major professional sports team. The Wells Fargo Center’s “Disassembly Room” gives fans the chance to release their aggression by beating on items like TVs, dishes, bottles, and guitars. They’ll have their choice of baseball bats, sledgehammers and, naturally, hockey sticks. Protective gear is provided and there is also an observation room. Participants have five minutes to smash away either before, during or after games. The cost is $35 for one person or $60 for two. Just watch out for Gritty.
