Stephen: Family dog goes missing, comes back as dog show winner

John Wilmer was on his way to a dog show in the U.K. village of Felbridge with his two dogs when he spotted Bonnie, a five-year-old beagle mix, and took the lost dog into his car. That’s when he decided to enter her into the competition for best rescue dog and she finished in third place. Meanwhile, Paula and Peter Closier were becoming concerned about their missing beagle-mix dog, which actually was Bonnie. The Closiers saw Wilmer’s post on Facebook about Bonnie and she was returned after the event. Peter said, “We couldn’t believe it. You could not make it up. Bonnie was absolutely fine when she got back. She just thought she was having a great day out.”
