Stephen: Facebook embraces the caps lock with new logo

Social media giant Facebook is changing the way its name looks, according to AV Club. The new typography features the word “FACEBOOK” in all capital letters. With the change, the company hopes to “be clearer about the products that come from Facebook,” as opposed to its mobile app, according to Chief Marketing Officer Antonio Lucio. Many commenters seem skeptical of the shift, which is being mocked by users on other social media sites. “FACEBOOK is now all caps to reflect how its user base communicates,” said one Twitter commenter. “I keep saying “FACEBOOK!” the way John Mulaney says “STREET SMARTS!” I can’t stop laughing,” said another.
