Stephen: Cleveland window company pays out nearly $2M following Indians win

During July, Universal Windows Direct of Cleveland, Ohio, offered a promotion wherein anyone who did business with the company would receive a full rebate if baseball’s Indians went on a 15-game winning streak between August 1 and the end of the season. On Thursday night, the Tribe did just that, beating the White Sox 11-2 for their 15th straight victory. In turn, Universal will now have to dole out refunds to the tune of $1.7 million. But if the Indians win their first World Series since 1948, it’ll have been totally worth it.
