Stephen: A rescheduled flight ended up in a private ride for one man

When Vincent Peone’s flight from Aspen was re-scheduled last week, the New York-based director found out he was the only passenger on the first leg of the replacement flight to Salt Lake City. The media pro decided he’d make a little movie of his adventure. “Will the only passenger on this flight please board at this time?” his video begins. Peone then documents the tarmac crew adding weight to the plane, the empty cabin, and the flight attendants making their customary announcements to an audience of one. Peone told The Washington Post that he found out he was flying solo when he arrived at the Aspen airport, was told he could sit wherever he wanted on the flight, and said the flight reminded him “of an experience you’d have flying in the ’50s or something.” Peone’s last shot in the video is him standing triumphantly in the doorway of his “private” jet.
