Robert: “The Batman” delayed until 2022


2020 has been hard on Hollywood.

Following the news that Disney has pushed the release of Black Widow and the latest 007 James Bond flick not hitting theatres until 2021, Warner Bros. is opting to delay the Caped Crusader’s return to the big screen.

The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson, originally had been scheduled for an October 1st, 2021, but now it’s not set to open until March 4, 2022.

The Batman isn’t the only DC superhero movie to be affected by the pandemic. The studio has also moved the release of The Flash starring Ezra Miller from June 3rd, 2022 to November 4th, 2022, and Shazam 2 has been pushed from November 4th, 2022 to June 2nd, 2023.

Meanwhile, Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman 1984 is still set to be released on December 25th, 2020.. for now.
