Robert: Quebec woman attempts to get around COVID curfew by walking bf on a leash
In response to the rapidly rising number of cases of COVID-19, the province of Quebec has recently imposed a four-week-long curfew which requires residents to stay in their homes from 8:00 pm in the evening until 5:00 am.
Now there are some exceptions to this rule. For example, Quebecers are allowed to go outside during curfew in order to walk their dogs. With this in mind, one woman in the province thought she found a loophole in the curfew mandate.
Police in King Street East in Sherbrooke found the woman walking her partner on a leash. When asked why she was breaking curfew, she replied, “walking her dog”.
Authorities go on to say the woman was ticketed for breaking curfew.
