Newfoundland and Labrador has the highest life satisfaction in the country, according to Stats Canada.

Based on data collected from those 15 years and older, 61.7% of Newfoundlanders and Labradorians reported high life satisfaction. Measured on a scale from 0 to 10, with 0 being “very dissatisfied” and 10 being “very satisfied,” criteria for satisfaction included the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, health, well-being, activities, use of time, and emergency preparedness.

The national average is 51.7%.

Following the N to the L, Prince Edward Island came in second with 59.7% satisfaction, with Quebec recording 58.7%.

British Columbia holds the last place on the list, with only 46.5% of those asked saying they have a high level of satisfaction living in the province.
