Robert: Moose assists RNC in finding stolen vehicle
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary owe a debt of gratitude to an unlikely source for helping them locate a stolen vehicle.
Late Saturday night, the RNC received calls regarding a moose roaming the the capital city. Officers located the animal and attempted to guide the animal away from busy streets and residential areas. As the moose headed towards the downtown area, the furry mountain of a beast happened on an abandoned vehicle and officers quickly recognized it as a car that was reported stolen the night before.
After completing its good deed, the moose wandered into the trees of Southside Hills.
