Robert: M5 unofficially break Regatta record

While the Royal St. John’s Regatta is still a week away, teams are continuing to work hard in order to perfect their strokes and hopefully pull off a win. an added bonus would be to set a new Regatta course record, and last night the M5 ladies team did just that. Albeit unofficially.

The senior ladies team, M5 team rowed the women’s course with a total time of 4:55.3, one second faster than the official record set back in 2003. Katie Wadden with M5 credits the near perfect pond conditions for the stellar time, and adds it’s encouraging with just a week to go before the big race.
