Robert: John Cena replaces The Rock in “Fast and Furious 9”
With Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson confirmed not to be starring in the next installment of the Fast & Furious franchise, the studio has announced they have found a replacement.. and his name is JOHN CENA!
Cena was initially teased to be joining the 9th installment of the action franchise earlier this year, and has since been confirmed by multiple sources.
“Although not much is known about his character at this time,” World Wrestling Entertainment says in a statement. “We can only assume that multiple attitudes will be adjusted, vehicles will be destroyed, and lives will be lived one quarter-mile at a time.”
Cena described his new gig as an “incredible honor” on Twitter.
For nearly 20 years, the Fast Franchise has entertained fans and created some of the biggest cinematic moments in history. It’s an incredible honor to join this franchise and this family. https://t.co/7GFzDsX8sl
