Robert: Hockey legend Guy Lafleur dead at age 70

Hockey Hall of Famer Guy Lafleur has passed away at the age of 70. 

While no definitive cause of death has been announced, the former right wing has battled lung cancer in recent months. 

During his NHL career, Lafleur scored 560 goals, recorded 793 assists, and won 5 Stanley Cups as part of the Montreal Canadiens. He would be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1988.

In addition to his hockey honours, “The Flower” was also named to the Order of Canada, the Ordre national du Québec and the Canadian Sports Hall of Fame.
