Robert: Game-worn Michael Jordan sneakers sell for $615K
A pair of shoes worn by Michael Jordan in a 1985 exhibition game have set a new record after they sold for $615,000 at auction.
The Nike Air Jordan 1 High sneakers are not only autographed by Jordan, but come with a shard of glass.
Why is this important? Well, the glass is from a backboard MJ shattered as he dunked the basketball during the game, making them a truly unique piece of basketball history.
The final price tag broke the previous world record, also for a pair of Jordan sneakers, of $560,000 sold earlier this year.
