Robert: “Friends” WON’T be leaving Netflix after all
Yesterday Netflix users panicked after the online streaming service announced they were removing Friends from its library starting in 2019. The backlash to the news was worse than when Rachel found out Ross slept with another woman. (EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE CLEARLY ON A BREAK)
In response to the outcry from fans of the 90’s sitcom, Netflix announced that they’ll postpone the removal of the show by another year, ensuring you can binge watch all 10 seasons of the show until 2020.

“The Holiday Armadillo has granted your wish: Friends will still be there for you in the US throughout 2019,” Netflix tweeted.
Netflix Canada also took to Twitter to assure that the show “will be there for you” in the new year.
Friends is also not leaving Netflix Canada, so you can all keep watching "The One Where Everybody Finds Out" another 100 times.

The news of the removal of the show comes after WarnerMedia, who owns the rights to the show, announced its intentions to launch its own streaming service in the near future.
