Robert: Flight forced to turn around after baby left at boarding gate

A plane bound for Malaysia was forced to turn around and head back to the airport from which it came from after a baby was left at the boarding gate.

The pilot decided to make the unusual request to return to an airport in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia when they were informed a passenger had forgotten their child.

(This is kind of starting to sound like Home Alone)

“May God be with us. Can we come back?” the pilot asked traffic control. “A passenger has left her baby in the terminal and she is refusing to continue the flight.”

The flight was given permission to return to the Saudi runway.
