Mallard Cottage co-owner and chef Todd Perrin has formally announced his intentions to secure the PC nomination in St. John’s East-Quidi Vidi.
On this first full day of spring, excited to announce that I’ll be seeking the PC nomination for the provincial district of St. John’s East/Quidi Vidi in the upcoming provincial election! Looking forward to the challenge and seeing the promise of our province more fully realized

Newly appointed leader of the provincial NDP, Alison Coffin, also plans to run in that district, following incumbent MHA Lorraine Michael’s decision to step aside.
Perrin is best known as the Executive Chef and co-owner of Mallard Cottage in the Quidi Vidi village, which is often regarded as one the top restaurants in the country. He also competed on the Food Networks’ Top Chef Canada in 2011 and 2017.
