Robert: Charity looking for someone to step on LEGOs
A charity in England is seeking some brave individuals who are willing to walk barefoot on LEGO bricks.
The sheer act of braveness is a fundraiser for Caudwell Children, a charity that provides practical and emotional support to children with disabilities and their families.
“Nearly everybody has had that experience of standing on a little plastic block of Lego and it can really hurt,” says Kate McMahon of Caudwell Children. “So we’ve enlisted the support of UK Firewalks, experts in creating mind over matter experiences where people can use their willpower to overcome physical obstacles, to create a rebrickulous, fun event for all the family.”
In an act of kindness and compassion, the charity created instructional videos on how to safely walk across a pile of Lego bricks for all volunteers who sign up.
