Mere days following her passing, Betty White’s hometown has declared what would have been her 100th birthday to be “Betty White Day.”
For Betty White Day on January 17th, local businesses in Oak Park, Illinois will be honouring the late actress in their own unique way. Mickey’s Restaurant, for example, is offering a special meal of White’s favourite foods, hot dogs, french fries, and diet Coke.
The town has also announced a Betty White mural contest. The winner will be permanently displayed.
White passed away in her home on December 31, 2021, at age 99.
