Province Records 16th Straight Day of No New COVID-19 Cases

Announced Saturday afternoon, there are no new cases of COVID-19 in Newfoundland and Labrador for a sixteenth straight day. The number of recoveries has also remained steady, which means there are still two active cases, one of which is in hospital. In total, 14,499 people have been tested for the virus, up 243 since Friday afternoon’s video health briefing. As has been the case for many weeks, the video briefings are suspended over the weekend but will resume on Monday. The province will release a numbers update tomorrow afternoon as well.
