No New Cases of COVID-19, Three Active Remain

Announced Saturday afternoon, there are no new cases of COVID-19 in Newfoundland and Labrador. The province currently has three active cases, all accumulated over the past week. In relation to yesterday’s new case, connected to international travel, the Department of Health and Community Services is asking anyone who travelled on Air Canada flight AC8006 from Toronto to St. John’s on Thursday, July 16th, to monitor for symptoms of the virus. Risk to the public is considered low at this time, but anyone experiencing symptoms is asked to contact 811.
