Mitch: Drinking 3 glasses of THIS a week will lower your blood pressure and help you relax

ACCORDING TO SCIENCE… Having a glass or two of red wine this week might actually benefit your health. Researchers from Germany and Northern Ireland looked at 1,000 people and found that drinking three standard-size glasses (about 4.2 ounces) of red wine a week can lower blood pressure and help you relax.
It’s thought flavonoids, which are found in the skin of red grapes, promote the relaxation of our arteries, allowing them to widen and therefore improve blood flow. Still, experts say if you don’t drink alcohol already, you shouldn’t start, and that those who do drink should always keep official drinking guidelines in mind as well.
