I think we can all agree that some people are just harder to shop for than others, but what do you do if that person is your mom? Mother’s Day can be tricky if mom doesn’t explicitly say what she’d like for that special day. Well, a recent survey asked over a thousand moms with kids still living at home what they’d enjoy on Mother’s Day, giving them options that aren’t physical gifts. No more last-minute trips to the mall, no more browsing online, just simple things you can do for the most important woman in your life. I guess it’s not too surprising that the thing moms with kids still living at home want the most is a nap. Being a mom is a tiring job and sometimes a little extra sleep is a huge help. The second most popular response was a meal that they don’t have to cook themselves. Cook for her, order in, or go out to eat. As long as she doesn’t have to cook, that’s what’s important. In third place was help with household chores, so maybe after that meal, don’t let her near the dishes either.
