All relationships require work, but especially when it comes to long-distance relationships. A new study asked 7,392 adults if they’ve ever been in a long-distance relationship and just under a quarter of us have. 75.5% of respondents say they have never been in one, while 24.5% admitted they’ve tried long-distance. Unfortunately, the success rate for relationships with distance in between the two partners isn’t great, at 31%. That does make me wonder what is considered a “success” and what percentage of all relationships reach that point. Being burned by separation from your sweetie has turned some away, but many remain open to the experience. 32% of respondents say they wouldn’t do the long distance thing again, and that number goes up the older the person is.
