Hugh: Pepsi Teams With IHOP for Maple Syrup Flavour Available Through Online Contest

Over the past few years, it’s been a trend for big food and beverage companies to come up with a limited-edition item only available through an online contest. The latest example involves Pepsi collaborating with breakfast food chain IHOP for a pretty divisive flavour. The internet is pretty divided over the new Maple Syrup-flavoured cola, with some saying that drinking syrup sounds gross, while the pancake lovers out there are jumping at the opportunity to get their hands on a can. If you want to try it, you won’t find it in stores, you’ll have to enter the contest. Just share photos or videos of your stack of pancakes and share it to social media with the hashtags #ShowUsYourStack and #PepsiSweepstakes while tagging IHOP. Only 2,000 fans will get sent the limited-edition product, but honestly, I think I’ll leave this one to the more syrup-obsessed people out there. What do you think?
