Hugh: Comedy Tribute to Bob Saget Featuring Jim Carrey, Chris Rock, and Others Reportedly Coming Out This June

When Bob Saget sadly passed away earlier this year, many of his friends in the entertainment world came together at the Comedy Store in Los Angeles for a tribute show. Now, it seems like we’ll actually get to see that one-night-only gathering of big names when it streams later this year. Bob’s friend and fellow comic Mike Binder (who previously made a docuseries at the iconic venue) says he “called a bunch of people” to get together for the event and had it recorded. Binder reportedly showed Netflix just 16 minutes of footage from that night before agreeing to host it on the streaming platform starting in June. There’s plenty to get excited for too, since it includes a rare on-stage performance by Jim Carrey, along with Chris Rock and others. Jeff Ross and Saget’s Full House co-host John Stamos hosted the event, while Jackson Browne and John Mayer played with the house band.
