Harry and Meghan to keep baby’s birth private, with no post-hospital pictures
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have some news about the upcoming arrival of their first child: There will be no news when their first child finally arrives. “Their Royal Highnesses have taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private,” the Royal Family said Thursday in a statement. “The Duke and Duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family.” That means they probably won’t announce which hospital Markle gives birth at and won’t pose for public photos outside the hospital after the delivery, like Kate Middleton has done with all three of her children with Prince William. ET notes that Harry and Meghan will “have a photo call with their newborn on the grounds of Windsor Castle” sometime after coming home from the hospital. Markle is due to give birth later this month.
