Do you need to stop doing any of these things that are stopping you from feeling happy?

There are a number of things you can to do make sure you’re living your best life. With that in mind, Thought Catalog has compiled a list of 20 things you should stop doing for a happier life. Here are 10 of them (see full list at the link):

-Stop making your happiness depend on other people. Once you are at peace with yourself, the rest will come.
-Stop complaining and feeling sorry for yourself. Smile and let everybody know that today you are stronger than you were yesterday.
-Stop holding onto the past. You can’t start a new chapter of your life while you’re rereading the previous chapter.
-Stop doubting yourself. Banish uncertainty and doubt from your soul.
-Stop criticizing yourself for your past mistakes. Mistakes help us to find right people and make right choices.
-Stop rushing into relationships for the wrong reasons. There is no need to hurry with the choice.
-Stop holding a grudge against someone. You will end up damaging yourself more than those who you hate.
-Stop trying to be everything for everyone. It’s impossible; you are just going to burn yourself out.
-Stop blaming other people for your problems. When you blame others for what happens to you, you deny the responsibility.
-Stop worrying too much. Ask yourself: “Will it still be important in one year? Two years? Five years?” If the answer is “no,” there is no need to worry at all.
