Do action heroes have an age limit? Liam Neeson thinks so

Liam Neeson may have a very particular set of skills, but he says that he’s getting too old to play an action hero in movies anymore. “The thrillers, that was all a pure accident,” he tells the AP. “They’re still throwing serious money at me to do that stuff. I’m like, ‘Guy’s I’m sixty-f**king-five.’ Audiences are eventually going to go, ‘Come on.'” Neeson still has two revenge thrillers coming out: Hard Powder and The Commuter. However, he says they will be his last. “I’ve shot one that’s going to come out in January sometime. There might be another. That’s it,” he declares. “But not Taken, none of that franchise stuff.” Neeson previously admitted he was surprised he became such a huge star after the 2009 film Taken–he thought the movie would go straight to video.
